Love Lives Here Bus Ministry

The Love Bus is an awaited, expected and familiar sight in the downtown and west end areas of Saskatoon. The bus ran every second Friday of the last fourteen years. This ministry was brought to Saskatoon by the late Pastor Perry Hubick after great success in Regina. Pastor Perry saw a great need in Saskatoon for this timely ministry.
The Bus is a five-fold ministry, serving the soul of people in love by praying for them and preaching the word of God when led by the Holy Spirit. Like Luke 3:11, we clothe the needy when clothing is available, and feed the hungry with whatever food is available.

This is a call-out to join the fight to help transform this area through love, kindness and compassion.

The person who has two tunics must share with the person who has none and the person who has food must do likewise. - Luke 3:11

Leona

Liaison and Volunteer Coordinator in the Love Lives Here Bus Ministry

Hello, I'm Leona, representing 'Love Lives Here Bus Ministry.' I'm proudly associated with Reconciliation Resources. My motivation lies in connecting and being there for the people. There are numerous heartwarming tales, and a recent one from Sunday stands out. That morning, we received a distress call from a family in dire need. Following an announcement, we gathered over three hundred dollars. With that, we were able to step into their home, offering both comfort and much-needed food, since they had none. That's a glimpse into who I am and what 'Love Lives Here Past Ministry' stands for.
